Don't Talk Too Much

Telling the interviewer more than he needs to know could be a fatal mistake. Don't Be Too Familiar

 5. Use discretion before posting information or commenting about anything. Once information is posted online, it can potentially be viewed by anyone and may not be retracted afterwards. Keep in mind that content or communications on government-related social networking pages may be considered public records.

   6. Configure privacy settings to allow only those people you trust to have access to the information you post. Also, restrict the ability for others to post information to your page. The default settings for some sites may allow anyone to see your information or post information to your page; these settings should be changed.

7. Review a site's privacy policy. Some sites may share information such as email addresses or user preferences with other parties. If a site's privacy policy is vague or does not properly protect your information, do not use the site.

The same technologies that invite user participation also make the sites easier to infect with malware that can shut down an organization's networks, or keystroke loggers that can steal credentials. The first thing I find I have to do is to dispel the persistent myth that entrepreneurial success is all about innovative thinking and breakthrough ideas. I've found that entrepreneurial success usually comes through great execution.

But what else does it take to succeed as an entrepreneur and how should an entrepreneur define success? Here's my top 10 list, in descending order, for success:

How to Be a Success

10. You must be passionate about what you're trying to achieve. This means you’re willing to sacrifice a large part of your waking hours to the idea you are come up with. Passion will ignite the same intensity in the others who join you as you build a team to succeed in this endeavour. And with passion, both your team and your customers are more likely to truly believe in what you are trying to do.

9. Focus intensely on your opportunity. This focus and intensity helps to eliminate wasted effort and distractions. Most companies die from indigestion rather than starvation in other words, companies suffer from doing too many things at the same time rather than doing too few things very well. Stay focused on the mission.

8. Success only comes from hard work. We all know that there is no such thing as overnight success. Behind every overnight success lies years of hard work and sweat. People with luck will tell you there’s no easy way to achieve success and that luck comes to those who work hard. Successful entrepreneurs always give 100 percent of their efforts to everything they do. If you know you are giving your best effort, you’ll never have any reason for regrets. Keep your focus on things you can control.

7. The road to success is going to be long, so remember to enjoy the journey. Everyone will teach you to focus on goals, but successful people focus on the journey and celebrate the milestones along the way. Is it worth spending a large part of your life trying to reach the destination if you didn't enjoy the journey along the way? Won’t the team you attract to join your mission also enjoy the journey more as well? 6. Trust your gut instinct more than any spreadsheet. There are too many variables in the real world that you simply can’t put into a spreadsheet. Spreadsheets spit out results from your inexact assumptions and give you a false sense of security. In most cases, your heart and gut are still your best guide. We've all had experiences in business where our heart told us something was wrong while our brain was still trying to use logic to figure it all out. Sometimes a faint voice based on instinct resonates far more strongly than overpowering logic.

5. Be flexible but persistent. Every entrepreneur has to be agile in order to perform. You have to continually learn and adapt as new information becomes available. At the same time you have to remain persistent to the cause and mission of your enterprise. That’s where that faint voice becomes so important, especially when it is giving you early warning signals that things are going off-track. Successful entrepreneurs find the balance between listening to that voice and staying persistent in driving for success because sometimes success is waiting right across from the transitional bump that’s disguised as failure.

4. Rely on your team. It’s a simple fact: No individual can be good at everything. Everyone needs people around them who have complementary skill sets. Entrepreneurs are an optimistic bunch of people and it’s very hard for them to believe that they are not good at certain things. It takes a lot of soul searching to find your own core skills and strengths. After that, find the smartest people you can who complement your strengths. It’s easy to get attracted to people who are like you; the trick is to find people who are not like you but who are good at what they do and what you can’t do.

3. Execution, execution, execution. Unless you are the smartest person on earth, it’s likely that many others have thought about doing the same thing you’re trying to do. Success doesn't necessarily come from breakthrough innovation but from flawless execution. A great strategy alone won’t win a game or a battle; the win comes from basic blocking and tackling. All of us have seen entrepreneurs who waste too much time writing business plans and preparing Power Points. I believe that a business plan is too long if it’s more than one page. Besides, things never turn out the way you envisioned them. No matter how much time you spend perfecting the plan, you still have to adapt according to the ground realities. You’re going to learn a lot more useful information from taking action rather than

hypothesizing. Remember stay flexible and adapt as new information becomes available.

2. Be honest and show integrity. I can’t imagine anyone ever achieving long-term success without having honesty and integrity. These two qualities need to be at the core of everything we do. Everybody has a conscience but too many people stop listening to it. There is always that faint voice that warns you when you are not being completely honest or even slightly off track from the path of integrity. Be sure to listen to that voice.

1. Appreciate your success by giving back. Don't ever forget this part, arguably the most important part, of defining yourself as a true success. By the time you achieve your success, lots of people will have helped you along the way. You’ll learn, as I have, that you rarely get a chance to help the people who helped you because in most cases, you don’t even know who they were. The only way to pay back the debts we owe is to help people we can help and hope they will go on to help more people. When we are successful, we draw so much from the community and society that we live in, we should think in terms of how we can help others in return. It’s our responsibility to do “good” with the resources we have available. 

How to Measure Success?

Hopefully, you have internalized the 10 lessons of becoming a successful entrepreneur. The next question you are likely to ask yourself is: How do we measure success? Success, of course, is very personal; there is no universal way of measuring success. What do successful people like Bill Gates and Mother Teresa have in common? ADVANTAGES OF DIGITAL SIGNAL (PART 3)

1. The main advantage of digital signals

 signals is that the precise signal level of the digital signal is not vital. This means that digital signals are fairly immune to the imperfections of real electronic systems which tend to spoil analog signals. As a result, digital CD's are much more robust than analog LP's.

 2. Codes are often used in the transmission of information.  3. Digital signals can convey information with greater noise immunity, because each information component is determined by the presence or absence of a data bit (0 or one). Analog signals vary continuously and their value is affected by all levels of noise.

4. Digital signals can be processed by digital circuit components, which are cheap and easily produced in many components on a single chip. Again, noise propagation through the demodulation system is minimized with digital techniques.

 5. Digital signals do not get corrupted by noise etc. You are sending a series of numbers that represent the signal of interest (i.e. audio, video)

6.  Digital signals typically use less bandwidth. This is just another way to say you can cram more information (audio, video) into the same space.

7. Digital can be encrypted so that only the intended receiver can decode it (like pay per view video, secure telephone .

DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING (DSP) (PART 2)

Digital signal processing (DSP) is the mathematical manipulation of an information signal to modify or improve it in some way. It is characterized by the representation of discrete time, discrete frequency, or other discrete domain signals by a sequence of numbers or symbols and the processing of these signals.

The goal of DSP is usually to measure, filter and/or compress continuous real-world analog signals.

The processing step is usually to convert the signal from an analog to a digital form, by sampling and then digitizing it using an analog-to-digital converter (ADC), which turns the analog signal into a stream of numbers. However, often, the required output signal is another analog output signal, which requires a digital-to-analog converter (DAC). Even if this process is more complex than analog processing and has a discrete value range, the application of computational power to digital signal processing allows for many advantages over analog processing in many applications, such as error detection and correction in transmission as well as data compression.

Digital signal processing and analog signal processing are subfields of signal processing. DSP applications include: audio and speech signal processing, sonar and radar signal processing, sensor array processing, spectral estimation, statistical signal processing, digital image processing, signal processing for communications, control of systems, biomedical signal processing, seismic data processing, etc. DSP algorithms have long been run on standard computers, as well as on specialized processors called digital signal processor and on purpose-built hardware such as application-specific integrated circuit (ASICs). Today there are additional technologies used for digital signal processing including more powerful general purpose microprocessors, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), digital signal controllers (mostly for industrial apps such as motor control), and stream processors, among others.

Digital signal processing can involve linear or nonlinear operations.
Nonlinear signal processing is closely related to nonlinear system identification and can be implemented in the time, frequency, and patio -temporal domains.

DIGITAL SIGNALS (PART 1)

 ASSALAMMULAIKUM W.B.T , I would like to share with you about the informations of digital signals in   computer.

Digital Signals refers to an electrical signal that is converted into a pattern of bits. Unlike an analog signal, which is a continuous signal that contains time-varying quantities, a digital signal has a discrete value at each sampling point. The precision of the signal is determined by how many samples are recorded per unit of time. For example, the illustration below shows an analog pattern (represented as the curve) alongside a digital pattern (represented as the discrete lines.

A digital signal is easily  represented by a computer because each sample can be defined with a series of bits that are either in the state 1 (on) or 0 (off). Digital signals can be  compressed and can include additional information for error correction.

A digital signal is a physical signal that is a representation of a sequence of discrete values (a quantified discrete-time signal), for example of an arbitrary bit stream, or of digitized (sampled and analog-to-digital converted) analog signal. The term digital signal can refer to either of the following:

      1.   Any continuous-time waveform signal used in digital communication, representing a bit stream   or other sequence of discrete values

      2.   A  pulse train signal that switches between a discrete number of voltage levels or levels of light  intensity, also known as a line coded signal or baseband transmission, for example a signal found in digital electronics or in serial communications, or a pulse code modulation (PCM) representation of a digitized analog signal.

           A signal that is generated by means of a digital modulation method (digital passband transmission), to be transferred between modems, is in the first case considered as a digital signal,and in the second case as converted to an analog signal.
